In the latest development of the business, Forrest Motion Pictures and Forrest Equity Management have brought together a strong team with experience in film and finance to form Forrest Capital Management.

Forrest Capital Management is a structured media & entertainment fund incorporated in Cyprus and regulated by the Central Bank of Cyprus as an International Collective Investment Scheme. The fund was created to provide investors with the opportunity to participate in a balanced portfolio of film content with the upside mitigated by collateralised senior debt and mezzanine finance.

Forrest Motion Pictures will advise the fund and act as producer/executive producer on films in which the fund has made an equity investment or provided finance.

Enterprise Investment Scheme (EIS)

Forrest Motion Pictures has developed a deal flow of Hollywood and UK productions that fits well into the EIS structure.

The EIS is a British government programme that offers UK residents tax relief on investment in unquoted companies operating in a qualifying trade, this includes film production.

FMP has developed a proprietary structure that leverages the EIS with an opportunity to achieve upside returns to investors and benefits to producers. A second model links the EIS structure with Forrest Capital Management.
